Who Is Ibti?
From AROLLO Fan to AROLLO Designer – the story behind the name.
Last week, we introduced a new member of the AROLLO collection.
Her name is Ibti.
But unlike most names in our collection, Ibti wasn’t chosen from a list. It belongs to a real woman – and to a story that began several years before these boots were created.
Today, we’d like to tell you that story.
It Started with the AROLLO Photo Challenge
Our first contact with Ibti began in 2022, when she participated in the AROLLO Photo Challenge.
What started with a shared passion for extraordinary boots soon became something more.
In 2023, we officially welcomed Ibti, a fashion enthusiast from Vienna with a particular love for high-quality leather high-heel boots, into the AROLLO Boots Family. At the time, she described how wearing high heels gave her a sense of confidence and how AROLLO Boots had become much more to her than simply another part of an outfit.
There was one sentence in particular that captured her relationship with AROLLO perfectly:
AROLLO boots don’t just complete the outfit. They are the outfit.
From Wearing AROLLO to Designing AROLLO
But Ibti’s story didn’t end with wearing our boots.
Her passion, her ideas and her own vision of what an extraordinary pair of overknees should look like eventually led to something completely new:
Ibti became a designer for AROLLO.
And not simply someone who suggested a colour, a heel or a small detail.
She designed the AROLLO Long Overknee Lady V entirely herself – exclusively for AROLLO.
From the silhouette to the character of the boot, Lady V was her vision.
And now she has done it again.
This Time, the Boots Carry Her Name
Her second design for AROLLO is different.
Not only because it is a new Overknee.
But because this time, we decided that the woman behind the design should also become part of its identity.
IBTI.
The new AROLLO Overknee IBTI was designed 100% by Ibti and exclusively for AROLLO.
The sleek silhouette, pointed toe and striking 13 cm stiletto heel reflect her personal vision of an elegant, feminine and confident overknee boot.
It isn’t a boot designed by a marketing department around a name.
The boot came first. The name came from the woman who created it.
Confidence Is Personal
There is something about this story that fits perfectly with what THE AROLLO WAY has come to mean.
Confidence isn’t about following someone else’s idea of what you should wear.
It’s about knowing what you love – and having the confidence to express it.
In 2022, Ibti entered an AROLLO Photo Challenge.
In 2023, she became part of the AROLLO Boots Family.
Then she went from wearing AROLLO boots to designing them.
And today, one of those designs carries her own name.
Perhaps there is no better expression of confidence than that.
Now You Know Who IBTI Is
IBTI is more than the name of our newest Overknee.
It is the story of a shared passion that became a collaboration – and ultimately became a pair of boots.
Designed by Ibti. Made by AROLLO.
Now, when you see the new IBTI, perhaps you’ll see a little more than just another pair of black leather overknees.
