Buying boots online is easy – until you start wondering about the fit.
With Overknee and especially long Overknee Boots, there is one question we hear particularly often:
Will the shaft actually fit my legs?
It is an understandable concern. Every leg is different, and the longer a boot becomes, the more important the proportions of calf, thigh and shaft length become.
The good news is: finding out whether our standard boots are right for you takes less than two minutes.
Step 1: Check Whether the Standard Shaft Fits
Before thinking about any kind of customization, start with the standard measurements.
Many customers discover that the regular AROLLO shaft dimensions already work perfectly for them. A few simple measurements are enough to compare your legs with the dimensions of the boots you are interested in.
We have created a short guide showing exactly how to do this.
→ Find out in less than 2 minutes whether AROLLO standard boots will fit you
The guide is available in our FAQ section and takes you through the process step by step.
No guessing. No complicated calculations. Just a measuring tape and a couple of minutes.
Step 2: What If the Standard Shaft Doesn’t Fit?
This is where things become interesting.
Having slimmer, wider, shorter or longer legs should not automatically mean giving up on the boots you really want.
For many AROLLO models, we offer an individual shaft adjustment.
The principle behind it is simple:
The boot should fit your leg – not the other way around.
To make the adjustment correctly, however, we need accurate measurements. And this is often where customers become uncertain again.
Where exactly should I measure?
How tight should the measuring tape be?
Which measurements do you need?
We have created another guide to answer precisely these questions.
→ See how to take the correct measurements for your AROLLO shaft adjustment
Again, you don’t need any special equipment or professional experience. We show you where and how to measure so that we receive the information we need.
What Happens After You Send Us Your Measurements?
This is the part you usually don’t see when ordering online.
Your measurements don’t simply disappear into an order form.
The shaft of your boots is individually adjusted by hand in Austria according to the measurements you provide.
It is careful manual work performed on the actual boots – and it is one of the ways we can offer something that mass-produced footwear often cannot.
You don’t need to understand how a boot is constructed. You don’t need to calculate how much material has to be changed.
>You provide the measurements. We take care of the rest.
First Measure. Then Decide.
Ordering long boots online should not mean hoping that they will fit.
Perhaps the standard AROLLO measurements are already exactly right for you. In that case, there is nothing more to do.
And if they aren’t, that doesn’t necessarily mean you have to give up on the AROLLO boots you have chosen.
Take a couple of minutes, check your measurements and find out before you order.
If an adjustment is needed, we’ll show you exactly what to measure next.
AROLLO has been creating exceptional genuine leather boots since 2008. And sometimes the journey to the right pair begins with something as simple as a measuring tape.
